Shopping at ASOS
One of the benefits of online shopping is that you get to have this feelings of anticipation once you've purchased something and awaiting its arrival. I decided to tick two items off my wishlist and bought myself a new bag and a waistcoat.
Just 2 days after the order, the package finally arrived at my door in a black ASOS shopping bag.
I opened it straight away.. well, immediately after taking the photo above. And the first item that I pulled out was the bag.
It's a lovely tartan holdall by ASOS. The size is just perfect, because I finally have a bag which is big enough to hold my most important things when I'm on the go. And that includes my wallet, mobile phone, card holder, packet of tissue, house keys, scarf, gloves, water bottle, umbrella, stationery case, lip balm, etc. It's also big enough to hold my file and notes, a small book and a lunchbox. And that's great. I feel so happy because all the handbags I ever had are too small.
The other item that I bought was a waistcoat, or vest. I never had one and was actually looking for one in stores. And I instantly loved this one when I saw it on ASOS.
It's got a cross back style and that's the reason why I decided to get it. Other vests that I've found are the normal ones. This is how it'll probably look like, as worn by Sarah Jessica Parker.
Nice isn't it? At least I'll have a good idea on how to layer my clothes instead of wearing a spaghetti tank top and a blouse/shirt all the time.
It's Day 2 on my Japan diet, and I feel happy and satisfied with my meals because I get to eat what I like.
Steamed salmon teriyaki with carrots, broccoli, cucumber and rice. Very simple to prepare, I just put everything except the cucumber in the microwave steamer and cooked rice with the rice cooker.
