We carried our supply and marked our camp site in between several large rocks. We spent about 2 hours starting the fire. Finally the flames were fuming and the marinated chicken drumsticks were left on the grill to be BBQ-ed to perfection. Meanwhile, the yilou's assembled themselves in position for our prize-winning backside snapshots.
Most romantic scene of the year ~ watching sunset. Now this scene looks so familiar, doesn't it?
The yilou's are in fact so good-looking, it would be a shame if there was no frontal view of their beautiful faces. With the beautiful sunset backdrop.. we have a masterpiece.
Unfortunately, the sun has already set, so eventually darkness was all that was left. And our tummy's started to rumble. So we feasted on the Ayamas sausages, crab-flavoured balls and chicken meatballs. There was so much food. And so little to drink. The BBQ finally ended with Excel time. We were out of Excel supply. So we packed up and worked our way in the darkness back to our cars, and headed to the apartment where we were staying over in Batu Ferringhi.
After bathtime, it was thirst-quenching time. We decided to have coffee to keep us awake all night (and early hours of morning). So, coffee we had. I had a double shot of espresso, with vanilla.. mmm...
See.. we are all enjoying our drinks. Unfortunately, our cups were very quickly emptied and we were thirsty. TK couldn't resist and gulped syrup instead because it looks just like water. Poor him.
Back at the apartment, we played together. What can 4 guys and 3 gals possibly do to have fun in an apartment?
Play UNO lah. UNO is a sick game. Then we played Cheat, Orh Kooi and Snap (card games) till we got bored.. till sunrise. We talked instead. I was the first man down. (Zzz.. zzz..) Later on, everyone needed to go home and SLEEP. So, all go home.
What do I think about this outing? It was great, but I'm...
Physically ~ Broken. Whole body ache. Muscle cramp. Argh!
