making it public

Although keeping a blog is more like writing in a diary, it's just completely different as everyone will be able to read what is going on in your mind, that includes secrets and things that we don't wanna share. So where has the freedom of expression gone? It's more like writing an essay and hoping for it to be pinned up for the world to read, comment, criticise and laugh at.

Making a blog public lets people who know or do not know you to dig into what you do everyday. It's like spying onto someone's life with consent. However, I don't feel at ease to share some things with the public although I wish to pen down memorable moments through my walk of life.

I am not saying that one day I'd become a famous person and have a biography written about me. This is not my historical record. This is just how I spend the time I have in my life at this moment in time. Today I came across a number of rather 'public' blogs; blogs that receive unique visitors daily, regular visitors, and blogs that have even become an advertising medium.

I mean, how much has the internet evolved ever since I stopped blogging. Those days, I used to have my own domain where I actually devoted time in programming my own scripts. Those were the days when PHP and CGI programming languages were still relatively new to the internet. Right now, it seems as if any other person in this world owns a blog. Do you have a blog? No? Go blogger.com and get one for free.

But I'm not talking about blogging, I'm mainly overwhelmed by the ideas people have, in particular, blog advertising. It's a great way of earning extra revenue, however I still feel that blogs are meant to record the closest things that has happened in a person's life.

Alright. On to the basics.

Physically ~ Oversleeping makes me sleepy. My neck is hurt, maybe cos I sprained it last night while sleeping too long.

Mentally ~ Unstable. I wanted to study. But I'm just too lazy.

Rants ~ Yet another day whereby I hate myself. Enough said. Refer to my mental state.

Random talk ~ Digging my love life? It's as crap as hell. As I said, blogs are meant to be public. I'm not disclosing anything.

Eating out ~
Gurney Plaza Food Court (lunch)
Had southern indian vegetarian rice set, costed $3.80 not too cheap. But enough to fill me up.

Red Garden / Hong Yuan (dinner)
Went to support my mum cos she took part in a singing competition. Way to go mummy!! Had satay, dim sum, herbal lotus soup and chrysenthemum tea (can't spell.. my bad). Local food is still the best.
